From the Drawing board
My name’s Lydia, I recently graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First Class Degree in International Fashion Practice.
My passion has always been to create things, whether it was a picture collage made from random things found as a child, or a tie dye cushion crafted as an adult.
I love the challenge of expressing my ideas and inspirations in to something new and exciting, and the joy found at having no limitations to my creativity.
Most recently I discovered my love for all things textiles, and the beauty that can be created through dyeing and manipulating fabric.
The technique I use is called Shibori, which can more often be associated with tie-dye. It’s an intricate method revolving around folding, tying, twisting, sewing and pretty much manipulating fabric in any way you can.
It’s a stunning way to express minimalist design in a way that is both simple and captivating.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my site, I hope you love my creations as much as I do!

This is not how the story is going to end."
